Daniel Jennings, Managing Director
Dan brings considerable and varied industry experience in building successful businesses to his role of Managing Director. Dan’s ability and hands-on experience in developing and executing effective strategies to maximize shareholder value sets him apart from other private equity investors. Dan founded Tenfold Investments with a desire to work with talented business owners and founders who want to maximize the value of their investment and take their businesses to the next level before they exit or retire.
With over 25 years of industry experience from middle management to senior executive roles Dan has gathered a wealth of experience through several significant liquidity events to both private equity firms and strategic investors in both the US and Canada. During the 1990′s Dan worked for a silicon valley based high tech international service company that sold in 1998 before the bubble burst. Dan stayed on with the strategic buyer until 2006 when he left to join a North American-based high-tech company in the electric power industry as VP Finance/CFO. In 2008 Dan joined 4Refuel Canada, a leading national onsite refueling service company as CFO. During the second private equity transaction in just five years Dan decided to divest his minority ownership position in 2013 and start Tenfold Investments.
Outside of work, Dan is an avid skier, golfer, snorkeler and traveler. Married for 27 years, Dan has two adult children. Dan holds a BBA from Simon Fraser University with an accounting major, a chartered accountant designation, as well as a designation as a certified international trade professional.
